... but i've gotta hand it to TXDOT. these new hifalutin' "safety rest areas" that they're puttin' up have WiFi hotspots, which means i can get a Coke, pee, wash my hands, get a Butterfinger if i so desire, get driving directions, check the weather, scope out cute guys, learn a little Texas history (of course) and blog all from one location. and it's mighty clean and quite nice.
kinda like being home already, except for the Butterfinger, cute guys and clean-ness. one of these days, though, i'm gonna re-construct my Hot Guy Gallery (just have to decide on a wall for that), clean my house and buy a case of Butterfingers at Sam's. just so my house can be as neato as the safety rest areas in Texas.
until then, i'll continue to spell y'all the correct way and be on my way home.
lata, musees.
Ha ha.
You texans are like so funny, dude. Like, you guys like totally weird, man.
Out here in California, we, you know, talk like regular people.
PS. Wi Fi at a rest stop. That is toooo cool.
We're lucky if we can find toilet paper.

Cute guys at a rest stop. Too weird. George Micheals and friends?

Actually I think you scored. According to this news release, just a few weeks ago there were only 4 wifi rest stops in the whole state.

Flashback. Anyone remember the scene from Something About Mary? where the police conduct a raid?
Nothing to do with this post. [shake your fist at] my short attention span.

Here in Arizona we have some of the nicest rest stops I've ever visited. Once you cross the border into California.....ew, not so nice.

jonag, i've visited one between Flag and Phoenix a couple of times, and it was right nice. not quite as nice as these Safety Rest Areas, though, but very nice.
::shakes fist:: at like RWD's short like attention span (and his bringing up that vile scene from that like vile movie). :)
Drew, i hit 50% of the wifi hotspots provided by the DOT, then. hooray for me!

"y'all" is not a real word so it is inpossible to spell correctly
Posted by: jason of avoca | Tuesday, July 06, 2004 at 08:07 AM
yes it is a real word. it's a contraction of you and all. to say it is not a real word is to say that didn't, couldn't, i'm, you're, etc. are not real words. :P

p.s. is impossible also impossible to spell correctly? :)

I can admit when I am wrong and I stand corrected. I checked dictionary.com and it does list it as a contraction. You are right.
