oh man, Fanta... that takes me back. I remember I'd drink that stuff religiously, that and Shasta... oh man, memories...

my boss still drinks Tab like its her job, though... with the occasional RC Cola... just to stroll down Soda Memory Lane.

James P

I used to like Shasta too, except that stuff would always give me wicked bad heartburn.

dvgulliver

No Fanta here. When low on cash, I drink Safeway brand. But I prefer RC and Mountain Dew (not together).

Indorphin

All the time. Orange and Grape.

Though US versions pale in comparison to the Euro-weenie versions. Their "orange" is like fizzy orange juice more than it is soda. It's good.

Exile

Fanta? Was she the chick who won american idol? Why would someone want to drink her?

physics geek

You mentioned a brand that's near and dear to my heart. Growing up in NC, I would drink Fanta grape and orange almost every day during the summer. I have to say, though, that the strawberry and pineapple flavors leave a lot to be desired.

Trucido

To be honest, I've never even heard of it.

jason of avoca

I used to till those ads started. I just couldnt respect myslelf anymore if I drank it.

sandor at the zoo

I try to stay away from soda as much as possible (the stuff just ain't good for ya). I figure I do enough damage to my stomach with the occasional beery weekend; I don't need to add daily doses of acidic sugarwater into the mix.

Fanta has pretty colors though. And pretty spokesmodels, too.

spacemonkey

Not if I have a choice.

Joshua

In the Sudan, in America...

There is mass In-FANTA-cide
Why whould I want to support that?

(yeayea..terrible...I know. I amaze myself at the depths which I will sink for lame jokes.)

krakatoa

mmmm... I used to love Fanta Orange... brings back good memories of childhood times spent with my Dad.

icthus13

I refuse, simply because of those horrid commercials they show in movie theaters.

jonag

Where do they sell Fanta anymore?? Maybe at Walmart? Hmmm. I like orange pop. In the Northwest,(from whence I hail) we call it "pop". I believe they call it "soda" in the Mid-west. Or so I've heard.

jason

not in America. but over in Europe, it's the to do, especially if your poor, and american, and traveling around unsure of what to do but feel calmed by a happy little orange soda. mmmm. but not over here, never.

sarahk

steve, what's a soda? here in Texas we drink Coke and Coke, no matter what the brand. :)

gulliver, i'm glad you clarified, because yeck.

sandor, this soda stuff is bad for you huh? glad Coke isn't.

me either, spacemonkey.

jonag, i don't drink pop. and i dunno where they sell Fanta, i think i got it in a popup ad.

jason of avoca

It now is now clear that most of the country has now been subject to the Fanta commericals. The commercials feature these beatiful women in bright colors asking if "wanna fanta". They play them before trailers of the last few movies I have seen. The commericals are like watching the teletubbies for adults, if the teletubbies were on meth.

Andy

Fanta is good, but Apfelsoft (spelling?) from Austria is also dee-licious. "Apple soda," you gasp in horror? It is true and delicious. Also, Fresca is a refreshing manly beverage.

Roger Glass

Mountain Dew. Blech. That's like the stuff they dumped Jack Nicholson into that turned him into The Joker. Plus, it's indecent that something bright colored has caffeine. Caffeine is only for brown or black colored things.

Andy, long ago Fresca was brought out to be marketed to women. No offense for heaven's sake. Besides, they've probably long since changed their advertising strategy. And for all I know, Richard Marcinko drinks a case each time before he goes out to kill a platoon of Spetsnatz or PRC naval commandos.

Indorphin

Mmmmm. Fresca. Do they still make that anymore?

What about Mello Yello?
