And the only flaw in his logic rests in that money is not the root of all evil, but that the LOVE OF MONEY is the root of all evil.

yes, Gratch, it's true, but it still makes my heart flutter.

James P

All my life I have been the consumate uber-geek. In high school, this was a bad thing. I was not well liked by my peers.

College and real life, however, it's a different story. Being a geek is double-extra awesome, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

maggie katzen

personally, I've always embraced my evilness. bwah ha ha haaaaa!

I agree with you James. Geeks are here to stay. I always used to tell the beautiful people in high school to make fun of me while they could, because soon I would be writing their paychecks.

lol, maggie, me too.
long live geeks, fellas.

Masked Menace

The formula I like, and completely explains Hollywierd is:

Start with these identities:
Time = Money
Knowledge = Power
Work = Power * Time

By substitution we get:
Work = Knowledge * Money

Solving for Money we get:
Money = Work/Knowledge

As Knowledge goes to zero Money gets larger. Thus the less you know the more you make regardless of the amount of work done.

This explains why there are so many rich idjets in Hollywierd.

I agree with you Sarah. Geeks are by far the best!

sounds about right, masked menace.

yes they are, donna. (hey!)

One entry found for geek.

Main Entry: geek
Pronunciation: 'gEk
Function: noun
Etymology: probably from English dialect geek, geck fool, from Low German geck, from Middle Low German
1 : a carnival performer often billed as a wild man whose act usually includes biting the head off a live chicken or snake
2 : a person often of an intellectual bent who is disapproved of
- geeky /'gE-kE/ adjective

I think that Ozzy Osbourne falls into definition one.

All the other geeks of definition two, unite.
Our day has arrived, beautiful intelligent , conservative Christian women love us and want to bare our children. Soon we will take over the world, the Liberals will die off because of homosexuality, promiscuity, euthanasia, and infantacide. There will be a new dawn.

Dawn of Geekdom will be here. I, Sir Kermudgeon Muckadoo, predict it.

there was a great article in the Oregonian, front page of the Living section today about geeks.

I haven't been able to find it online, and I don't feel like transcribing it.

maybe their is someone that can do this in Oregon.

It was all about how geeks are popular and are chic.

GEEK GEEK GEEK GEEK....goooooooooooo GEEKS!!
