cuddly kitty... Minerva has always been a cuddlesome little bebe, but she's in my face all the time since Nicole left, it's so adorable. we just lie on the couch and cuddle and purr; some say we need a man to add to the cuddling mix, i agree w/ some.

i heart Fox and Friends... i really should create an "i heart" category, but i have too many as it is, and i think it would be overkill to have a category dedicated mostly to Frank J. anyway, i love love love Fox and Friends, wake up with them every morning, and Steve, E.D. and Brian are all just great, they have great chemistry, they're funny, they do great interviews, etc. plus yesterday they had this moron on who used to be some elected official in some big city, and he was being a muckadoo and spouting off a bunch of muckaisms, and E.D. and Steve just laid into him, and i was laughing and shouting muckadoo and wanted to send fan mail to the non-mucks but i'm lazy and never do that. Bikermommy, send fan mail to F&F for me, will ya?

sleep all day... is what i just might do saturday, but i really want to do a movie marathon. decisions, decisions.

political correctness is stupid... the terrorists are laughing at us, banking on our stupid, stupid, idiotic, American-original polical correctness to help out all of their plots. i'm only gonna say this once, and there is to be no arguing. WE SHOULD PROFILE. PROFILING CAN SAVE LIVES. IF YOU DISAGREE, YOU WANT TO DIE AT THE HANDS OF TERRORISTS. GO AWAY, YOU ARE RUINING MY COUNTRY. that said, i don't think you should profile 5-foot tall white chicks, because that would inconvenience me and might hurt my wittle feewings and make me feel like a girly, um, girl.

taught to sing by a muckadoo... when i was a wee child of many fewer years, i used to listen to Linda Ronstadt tapes over and over as i honed my vocal skilz. so thanks, muckadoo, for this singing voice, you helped a flaming Christian Republican to accomplish her goal of standing ovations at karaoke bars; i hope you can deal with that.

promises i don't intend to keep... tonight i should have Bloglib #3 posted, but i have to ask, is it only cool to participate after Frank does it? thanks to all who participated anyway. i also have Part 3 of the Grand Canyon story (wrote it yesterday during CPE, and i think the partners thought i was taking notes, haha), and it's the part with Brian the Most Beautiful Park Ranger in the Entire World, so you won't wanna miss all the drooling and gushing.

Linda Ronstadt has one of the most beautiful voices ever recorded. Too bad she went and ruined it for us by using it to rip into a huge segment of the American population. (Guess what Linda?? Christians have money and use it to buy CDs and concert tickets. But not yours now.) I've had to stop listening to the Dixie Chicks and Neil Diamond. Who's next? At least the BeeGees are English so maybe they won't feel compelled to express their opinions whatever they may be. And Glen Campbell is safe (I got his greatest hits CD for my b-day, I love him.). I should look on the bright side; at the rate this year is going, I should save tons of money on CDs and movies next year (although this Matt Damon voting for Kerry thing is a conundrum since I love Jason Bourne.). Oh well, at least I've never owned a Bonnie Raitt CD!

jonag, I learned a long time ago that if I boycott every entertainer who I disagree with I'll have almost no movies to see or music to listen to. My rule is that I only stop buying their stuff if they cross the border from "loyal opposition" to "irrational leftist".

Barbara Strisand and Michael Moore will never see a single dime of my money. Jack Black, on the other hand, is someone who I disagee with but who I'm still comfortable supporting with an occasional movie ticket purchase. Almost all popular entertainers are liberals, or at least Democrats; anyone who lives in Hollywood and has that much money is destined to become something of an elitest snob.

I understand. I probably won't buy the next album Evanescence releases. The guy that is a christian quit the band (lead guitarist), so I imagine they'll probably be going promptly and completely to the dogs.

Profiling. I thought this was common sense. There are people try to waste Americans who are from a select number of countries. Most of them are men age 21 to 35. Is it not prudent to perform a rigorous background check on these guys before we let them in the country? 80 year old white grannies aren't blowing up buildings, but arab men age 21 to 35 are.

People can be really stupid sometimes.

Sandor, I totally agree. Although I was disappointed to see Jack Black in his "Vote Kerry" shirt, he hasn't been spewing hate aLa Michael Moore, Natalie Maines et al. and he totally cracks me up. If people can disagree in a civilized manner I can handle that just fine. But these entertainers should realize that there is a direct correlation between what comes out of their mouths and what goes into their bank accounts (or doesn't). And for many of them, they have received their last dollar from me.

Yeah, I'm a F&F fan as well. Every morning when I get home from work.

The movie-marathon thing is how I maintain a certain level of sanity. About once a month I sneak off by myself, see a movie, then it's over to bennegans (sp?) for a few beers and a monte cristo. Then (because i dont drink and drive) it's back to the theater for a couple more movies.

I only saw two this week though, Spiderman2 and I, Robot.

jonag, that's the one place i cannot commit to the fight against muckadoos. i love my music, and why punish me to punish them? that's like withholding sex from your husband! i'm in the dave matthews band fan club (i know, i know), and i don't intend to stop being, because the music music music and the fabulous live jams. however, i'll never buy another Dixie Chicks cd or Linda Ronstadt cd. *sigh* i know, i'm a big fat hypocrite, i know!! pray for me. :) i think it's because with dave matthews, i just blame it on the pot. :D
