i see you have a poll on your website. will Saddam Hussein receive a fair trial? i'm apparently having technical difficulties, because i only see the options "Yes" and "No". this may be a web browser issue on my end, but i don't have the following options:
* yes, because i consider no trial quite fair for a man who murdered countless numbers of his own citizens.
* yes, because anything above ["are you Saddam Hussein?" "yes." click-click-boom.] is quite fair.
* no, because the moonbat media will muck it up and manage to get him off on a DNA evidence technicality.
* no, but who gives a millivanilli rat's pinkytoe? he's. Saddam. Hussein.
thanks,
sarahk
p.s. y'all are a bunch of muckadoos.
What ever happened to innocent to proven guilty? You are so mean.

Well. A lot of people are going to discover that other legal systems are not quite as generous as the U. S. Of A.
Judge: Mr Hussein. Did you kill these people?
SH. NO it was all George Bush.
Media applaudes.
Judge. GUILTY.
SH: Your honor. I haven't even given my opening statement.
Judge: Guilty. We'll read it after we execute you.

I dunno. I do believe in rule of law and I think it sets a good precedent for the new Iraqi government to give him a fair trial. There is absolutely no doubt whatsoever that he did all those things he's accused of, so I can assure you he ain't gonna walk. I do not rejoice over death, not even the deaths of my enemies, but perhaps his will be the last one of that era in Iraq's history.
I actually pity Hussein. Look at him now. He spent his whole life seeking power, and now what does he have to show for it? Even if there was a chance he wouldn't be put to death after his trial, there's no way he could do anything else with his life (except by God's grace). His entire life has been utterly meaningless. I've only been alive for 22 years and my life has had far more meaning already.
I do believe that he must be punished severely for his crimes. Being a very right-wing conservative that supported the war this might sound weird coming from me, but I am going to pray for Saddam Hussein. He is going to be executed, I gurantee it, and if he dies without a relationship with God he will burn forever in Hell. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Not even him.

click-click-BOOM
I like that! :D
Pity for Saddam Hussein? Nooo, that's misplaced.
Where is he now? Exactly where he wants to be. At the center of attention, and a legend in his own mind.
No pity for him from me.
Do I want him dead? Not particularly. Frankly I think putting people such as Saddam and Osama bin Laden in jail for life would serve a much better example to the bad guys.
