bring back Quentin, please.
what?? you're going to let Simon start it off? will the crowd please shut up so we can actually hear his critiques this week, his, the only ones worth hearing? what will Paula say, not having Randy to follow?
Jasmine [number withheld] -- good karaoke. goodbye. eek, i take it back. mediocre karaoke. goodbye. aha!! i said that before Simon did. we are kindred spirits; we should date, he and I, 'specially since he's got that whole sexy thing going on. SONG#2 -- well, that seals her fate; the mere fact that she picked "It's Raining Men" disqualifies her. goodbye. may i say, though, that i'm quite thankful that she didn't wear ugly cutoff parachute pants tonight. oh, Paula, do not speak for me, no, all of America does not love Jasmine. but i am sad for her, because she's really sad about it.
Latoya [02] - great as always, agree with Simon. see hasn't grown, but that could be because there's nowhere for her to go. SONG #2 -- excellent, she rocks.
Fantasia [03] - agreed w/ Simon. she puts her whole self in every week and just hokey pokeys her heart out, and she really wants to win. she really is the best in the competition, and she should win. she always gets better, too. SONG #2 -- shenanigans on that being a disco song, but oh wow, she gave me chills three times in the opening 5 seconds of the song, and she actually gave me one big long running chill throughout the entire song. i wasn't happy with the song choice, but leaping lizards! she's the best, no question!! go girl!
Diana [04] - this girl just keeps on going! i've gone back and forth on her, but lately, there's nothing bad to say about her. you know what that means? she wants to win, too. could she be in the top 2 with Fantasia? we shall see. she was awesome tonight. yay for her! and yay!! Simon agreed with me!! man, i'm on tonight, and so is he. SONG #2 -- fantastic. wow, best of the night.
so here we go, the order in which they should finish, as of tonight...
Jasmine -- out like Seacrest.
Latoya -- 3
Diana -- 2
Fantasia -- 1
um, i did like Donna Summer as a guest judge because she actually critiqued, not as well as QT, but who could do as good a job as a guest judge as QT? who? oh yeah. me.
I had to tape it and watched it late last night. Poor little Jasmine, she's a sweet girl but was not doing her best last night. I felt for her, she seems nice. LaToya bores me to tears! She's technically perfect, but "Yawwwnnn!" Fantasia was great! She was up there sweating her butt off and really has lots of pizzaz (although she should tuck her tummy in a bit!)! I love watching her. Diana actually has my attention now. She used to drive me nuts with her cutsy Shirley Temple-ness. But she has really upped the ante for everyone. I'm hoping it comes down to Fantasia and Diana with Fantasia winning. I would buy her CD. That's my take on it!!

I did not watch last night. I lost intrest in the show. The four that are left are basically the same. There is no varity and they better have less theme nights next season. With that said, based on what people are saying in my office, I believe Latoya is gone.

jonag, i agree, she seems really sweet, but she is just not talented enough to have made it to the top 12. i do love watching fantasia, and i'm really getting into diana. jasmine should go tonight, latoya next week, etc.
jason, the themes are really beating me down; i wouldn't mind themes, but please! an interesting one now and then! we haven't had a good theme since elton john week.
