ha, who am i kidding? i'm SarahK, queen of self-praise! anyway, it should be a crime to be this good at cooking/baking. and by good at cooking, i mean that i can follow recipes from the Pampered Chef, Southern Living, and Grandma Shirley, etc. i'm good at doing what people tell me to do (yeah right). right now i'm waiting for my Southern Living petits-fours cakes to cool so i can ice them, and oh wow, do i make awesome petits-fours. don't let the french name and origin fool you, they're awesome.
for the record, i also make stuff without recipes and make my own concoctions, ones that, if they were seen on a menu, would get a lot of "huh"s and "ewwww"s. but they're good. for real.
mmmmmm foooood.
Is there anything sarah K isn't good at?
I mean, besides humility! :D
(ducking)

well, i'm not good at being bad at anything...
actually, the only thing that comes to mind is that i can't throw a soft ball straight (or far). but i can pitch a baseball like a guy, which is better.

I just bought the BEST (baking)cookbook ever!! It's Baking Illustrated by the people who make the Cook's Illustrated magazine. Oh. My. Goodness. It's so good. It's just baking (bread, cookies, cakes, etc.). Everything I've made has been wonderful! You should check it out!!
