spidade told me that a new movie started this weekend that has both heath ledger AND the most beautiful elf-turned-pirate in the whole world????
that warrants a thankful for of the day. oh yes it does.

dierks bentley: dierks bethly
drew sent me this off my wish list for my birthday! i love dierks's voice.
Josh Gracin: Josh Gracin
The Other Little Soldier is great, and i'm also diggin' Brass Bed. Nothin' to Lose is fun and reminds me of that barbeque-stain song from Tim M.
Five for Fighting: The Battle for Everything
yes, i know jon ondrasik is one of the yummiest hockey fans out there, but don't let that stop you from hearing his fabulous voice. mmm.
the dave matthews band: before these crowded streets
my very favorite dmb album
dave matthews band: the central park concert
5 of the best musicians in the world. and hands-down the best live concert band in the world. try to prove me wrong.
travis: good feeling
another one of juan's tips.
Various Artists: cold mountain
jack white is awesome and very exposed on here, alison krauss is glorious as ever. the whole cd is excellent.
beth orton: pass in time: the definitive collection
i can do without the dance remixes, but i love everything else.
evanescence: fallen
"my immortal" is so beautiful, but it might not even be as beautiful as "hello" -- i cannot get enough of them!!
joseph arthur: redemption's son
joseph, you are the honey and the moon that lights up my nights. i love you.
michael giacchino: alias [soundtrack]
ok, so i'm an alias freak. it's the best television soundtrack ever.
i hate to be a party pooper, and maybe i'm wrong, but i can't seem to find such a movie on imdb. i suppose it might not be listed, but that doesn't seem likely. maybe i'm just looking in the wrong places.

i take it back. they're both in a movie called ned kelly which was released in australia last year. apparently it's just now being released in the US. unfortuntately, it appears to be a limited release (so far at least)so you may have trouble finding it in the theater.

well, thanks for doing the research for me, jeffrey. i'll let you know how extremely hot they are -- er, how the movie is.
i might have a hard time finding the movie if i didn't live in a huge metropolitan area. ;) where is it you live? podunk kansas or oklahoma or something? ;)
around these here parts, we have these things called "art-house" movie theaters; i don't know what that means, except that i have to drive a long way or take the train to get there, and the tickets are dallas-priced, even though there's never great art on the walls.
