did you notice...

...the new banner? how awesome is that! so much better than the one i made in 5 minutes on Blog Day 1.

gracious and generous reader Chad from passtheammo.com saw my whine about needing a new banner and took it upon himself to help me out.

what a nice surprise for the inbox!

the banner may evolve some after i get settled in in my new digs and new job, but i'm now in no rush for that. yay!!

UPDATE: Chad has sent me 4 different banners to choose from, and they're all awesome. the one above is my favorite.

krakatoa, we don't want to give the impression that hippies should be allowed to visit the Grand Canyon; it should be reserved for the VRWC.

please keep the comments "cussin'"-free, and no taking of the Lord's name in vain (including in initials form and in euphemistic form). my grama reads my blog, and i don't like those words either. if you post something i don't like, i will change your wording to make you sound like a sissy.
p.s. if you're a troll, i reserve the right to either wingardium leviosa your butt (which means delete and ban you), or the more fun option, to put a pretty bonnet on your head and lead you around on a lovely purple leash and make you do my bidding. yay!!

warning - there are some "colorful" things in this album, so don't say i didn't warn you. live at java joe's is great, showcases jason's fabulous voice, adorable humor, mellow guitar, and smart lyrics. oh, and toca rivera is awesome. make sure you listen to "after an afternoon", the best love song ever.
